Bright Ideas!!

I am going to be super colorful and bright! I had a great idea to buy myself some super bright workout clothes for this winter's running and skiing! I can't forget about my new winter gloves with those touch screen friendly fingers that don't require me to take off my gloves to use my phone. 
I sometimes do what ever it takes to get me excited to run out in the cold. Plus, it's just smart to be bright and be seen since winter is pretty dark. I spent a good chuck of the afternoon looking at workout clothes at the running store. Found out, I don't need the latest and greatest thing on the rack.. at those prices! Forget it! I'm not paying $100 for a ugly shirt! I will spend $20 for one at TJ Maxx. They really do have the best prices for cheap workout clothes in name brands too. 

I haven't tried out my new shirts or gloves but I really need to plan a run outside to test them out.. 
Last night we had leftover veggies from the pizza the night before. I cooked up all my favorites.. Peppers and onions.. made a batch of white rice.. 


Topped the ride with the peppers/onions and 2 kinds of salsa. Steve also cooked up the rest of the pizza's sausage.. A really good combo. 

A very quick, easy and delicious meal. Steve thought we should try adding the taco seasoning package to the veggies next time we want taco's and make it a meatless night. That actually might be a good idea! I like it! 
More floor time.. can I just not get up! More morning planks and squats. Yesterday I did 4 minutes of planks.... resting after 1 minute intervals.. I'm kind of making Steve do these with me every day.. he likes that.. otherwise he won't do it at all. I'm still not sure when its going to feel easy? We aren't there yet but I'll keep you posted. I'm making this a daily habit for life!
