At our new favorite park.. Mears Park, St. Paul We listened to the St. Paul Orchestra. A perfect night to be outside with 500+ other people..
We got to the park super early and grabbed a really good spot to watch the outdoor concert. Subway is always the way to go for a picnic.. I personally love the turkey.. lots of onions, peppers, tomatoes, pepper and red wine vinegar on honey oat wheat bread. Now that's a good sandwich.. but the best part is their white chocolate chip - macadamia nut cookie
The kids didn't really enjoy the concert all that much.. They were good about it, but for awhile they thought they were the youngest.. It was pretty much a white hair crowd.. Made us all feel so young.. kind of like "Teenagers", how lucky!
This is a really cool park right in the middle of all these tall, big buildings in down town St. Paul.. I still think some day I'd like to live in the city.. just for a year or two.. I'm all about trying something completely different. The suburbs are nice, but kind of dull and predictable. I like all the action of a city..
There are more concerts by other groups.. on Friday, Saturday and Sunday night.. Might have to come back to the Park for another concert? It was a nice way to spend the night.. something different that I could do most every night in the summer..
